Frazzled

It’s interesting how one’s body reacts to stress – some people are stress-eaters, gobbling up everything in sight, others want to simply sleep, others lie awake unable to sleep. I am one who simply doesn’t eat when I get stressed and while some may think this is a lovely dieting trick, take my word for it – it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Often when I am super stressed and start forgetting to eat, the only thing that reminds me is when my muscles start to ache terribly. I think it’s because my body is trying to eat them and they are hanging onto my bones for dear life.

 So I am trying to be better to my body during this insane week, especially since I am still training and my body needs extra energy over the next six weeks.

Sometimes life just sucks.

    Work can be busy sometimes, just remember my motto “Fuck it”, the work will be there the next day. (my company doesn’t pay me overtime so 8 hrs is 8 hrs, period).
