I love Law & Order and since reruns play on several channels, it is what I end up watching on the nights when I actually turn on my TV.
Well it turns out there are side effects from watching too much Law & Order. The other night, after watching an episode that involved a funeral director stealing body parts from dead people, I dreamt my dad’s wife — who was not my mother but instead was a young Asian woman — had died. When we exhumed her body (please don’t ask why we were doing this, my dream didn’t get into such trivial details!), she had been decapitated. I picked up her head (clearly a dream as everyone knows I am thoroughly freaked out by dead bodies), and her eyelids flipped opened. Just like the dolls I had as a kid.
Completely fucking freaky.
